Lancaster County's fastest growing performing arts studio! Launched in 2007 as a private voice studio, the Studio now offers private voice lessons, acting classes, workshops, masters classes, performance opportunities and much more! The faculty at Popovsky Performing Arts Studio has a deep love and passion for performing and educating. It is our goal to provide an environment where students can grow and learn as singers and actors in order to become well-rounded dynamic performers! Mission Statement: to develop well-rounded, dynamic performers ActorWorks Instructors: Session 1 - TBA Session 2 - Ms. Debra Macut & Ms. Kathy Becker Campers experience working on a production from beginning to end. While putting this production together, students will learn basics of staging, how to create characters, what makes an interesting story, and many other aspects of theatre. Students will also create songs that enhance the story and build some of their own props and costumes. Each session concludes with a free performance. Camp Dates: July 16th to July 27th Young Actor Camp 9am – 12:15pm   Instructor: Ms. Debra Macut Join us for this fun-filled two-week acting intensive. Using original and scripted material, students work on creating interesting characters, making bolder choices, and refining their acting technique while creating an ensemble performance piece. This fast-paced, exciting workshop culminates in a performance of the students' work. Camp concludes with a full day of camp on Friday, July 27th with a free performance. Glee Club! Back by Popular Demand 1pm - 4pm Instructor: TBA Looking for a fun-filled summer with some of your favorite songs? Campers learn how to present themselves as dynamic performers in the pop genre, and move, groove, and dance in group numbers. We will learn the art of ensemble performing and how to sing a song with passion. We will culminate in a performance on the last day of camp! Camp concludes with a full day of camp on Friday, July 27th with a free performance High School/Adult Summer Production This years production is Bye Bye Birdie Auditions are Saturday, May 19th from noon to 3 pm Sunday, May 20th from 1 pm to 4 pm Rehearsals in June and July with the production in Early August E-mail info@popovskyperformingarts.com to request a time slot. Auditions will take place at Popovsky Performing Arts Studio To participate please sign up at the studio to ensure you get your preferred time Summer Music Together The studio is offering a short 6 week session Beginning the week of June 18th and ending the week of July 30th. Three Session times are available: Mondays 6 PM Tuesdays 10:30 AM Wednesdays 10:30 AM Session Cost: First child $115 and additional childr(ren) $35 each
