Winter Classes begin January 7th and last for 8 weeks, wrapping up on Friday March 1st. For more information about our acting and other programs, click here, or email us at info@popovskyperformingarts.com.

Acting classes offer so much more than acting technique. Students in acting classes gain experience working with others, they get more comfortable speaking in front of others, they lose some of their self-consciousness, and they have a great deal of fun! They also grow in confidence and self-esteem as they experience success in something challenging, something outside their everyday lives. What students gain from acting classes are skills that will serve them well no matter where their lives take them–skills that will last a lifetime.

Winter Break Reader’s Theater 1st – 5th Grade. December 27-28 9:00AM-12:00PM
Winter Break Reader’s Theater 1st – 5th Grade. December 27-28 9:00AM-12:00PM
Reader's Theater offers an entertaining and engaging opportunity to perform!! The Reader's Theater strategy blends the young student's desire to perform with their need to improve fluency and enhance comprehension.. Our actors will use their voices to bring their characters to life. We will work with minimal sets, props and memorized lines and instead focus on dramatization, characterization and storytelling. Students will have 3 holiday scripts to choose from and we will then work on bringing our chosen story to the "stage" with our words. Class will include theater games and activities to help actors become more comfortable with their bodies and their perfomance. This class will run December 27-28.  9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
