Wherever you are in your journey – a beginner looking to get started or a more experienced student looking to refine their craft – we have a program that supports you as you reach your goals!

As a student of acting at Popovsky Performing Arts Studio, you will grow as a well-rounded performer. The studio offers a variety of classes allowing you to explore all that acting has to offer. Through exercises such as improvisation, scene work, and monologue study you will develop and refine those skills needed to be successful on stage. Regardless of which class is taken, you will:

  1. Learn to use the whole body to fully express character and emotion…
  2. Develop the ability to make bold and interesting choices…
  3. Make true and clear emotional connections…
  4. Think quickly on your feet…
  5. and much more!

All of these tools allow you, as an actor, to connect with the essential emotional truth of a situation, scene, or character… the ultimate goal in acting. Look to stretch yourself by trying out some of our classes that you might not normally be comfortable taking. Surround yourself in a positive environment with a teacher who brings passion and a true love of the craft to every class. Remember, acting is about taking chances and enjoying the process!
