For Private Lessons

Private lessons range in cost from $30 to $60 depending upon the length of each lesson. Payment is due at the last lesson of each month to pay for the following month (e.g. pay for February at your last lesson in January). Lesson times are reserved when payment is received. Payment may be made by either check or cash and may be given to the instructor, placed in the studio payment box or mailed to the studio.

     Refer Your Friends and Save

  • If a current student refers a friend who signs up for two months of lessons, the current student receives a 10% discount on 1 month of lessons once their friend's lessons are paid in full.

What You Should Bring to Your Lessons

  • Please make sure you always come to your lesson with a pencil and your music. You should invest in a small black binder that is able to hold sheet music and any handouts or notes. It is also good for a singer to always have water so be sure to bring water to your lessons. Finally, you should invest in a voice recorder of some sort. Portable tape recorders and digital voice recorders start at about $20.00.

For Group Classes

The cost of classes varies depending upon the capacity of the class and its duration. Please visit our Class Schedules pages for the most recent schedule, pricing and registration.

A space in a group class is not guaranteed until payment has been made.  If payment has been made and a class is canceled due to low registrations, all money paid will be refunded.  Unfortunately, no discount or reimbursement is offered for missed classes or for dropping a class.

Classes begin promptly at the time stated in the class schedule.

Private Lesson Cancellation Policy

  1. If you are unable to make an appointment, you must give at least 24 hours notice. If proper notice is not given, you will be billed the amount of the services scheduled. Notice may given by sending an email containing your name, appointment time and a contact phone number or you may wish to call/leave a message at 717-517-8543. ** Please understand that we will NOT reschedule lessons when we are given less than 24 hours notice except in the case of an emergency **
  2. If you are sick, it does not mean you should not come to your lesson. As long as you are not contagious, there is still a lot to study when you are not 100% vocally. You will learn how to safely sing through sickness as well as translation, memorization techniques etc.
  3. If the studio must cancel a lesson, you will be notified, when possible, 24 hours prior to the start of the lesson, and you will receive a full refund or credit - your choice. You will be notified by email as well as direct contact by either the studio or the individual instructor.
  4. Should you choose to terminate your lessons, you must give the studio at least a 30 day notice. Notice of less than 30 days will generate a $10 processing fee for any refunds.
  5. Scheduling is, unfortunately, the most time consuming part of this business, and in fairness to everyone's time and schedule, we must strictly enforce these policies. Thank you in advance for your understanding.

Group Class Cancellation Policy

  1. 2. If you miss a class or drop out of a class no discount or reimbursement is offered.

  3. Should a student need to request an exception to the studio payment policy arrangements must be made with the studio prior to either the class start or before the next month of voice lessons.

Refund Policy

  1. Refund eligibility, for a class that a student has enrolled, is based solely upon the timing of the request, regardless of the reason for withdrawing from the class.
    • If we receive your request at least one week prior to the first day of class, you receive a full refund, less a $25 service fee.
    • If we receive your request less than one week (5 business days) prior to the first day of class, you are not eligible for a refund.
    • Credits are not given in lieu of refunds (that is, you cannot apply this payment to another class, whether taught by the same instructor or another instructor) unless your class is cancelled by us, in which case you have a choice between a refund and a credit.
  2. Refund requests must be made in writing and sent via email or postal mail. We do not accept refund requests over the phone (please respect this).
    • Send email requests to info@popovskyperformingarts.com.
